Before you glow, prep like a pro

To reduce your chances of bruising and get the smoothest results possible, follow these simple pre-treatment tips:

1. Pause the blood thinners

Skip aspirin and NSAIDs like ibuprofen, Advil, or Motrin for 7 days before your appointment.

If you’re on prescription blood thinners like Coumadin or Plavix, talk to your doctor before making any changes.

2. Hold off on herbal helpers

Avoid supplements such as Vitamin E, fish oil, ginseng, and garlic for 1 week prior—these can thin your blood and increase your risk of bruising.

3. Say no to vino (for now!)

Refrain from alcohol for 24–48 hours before treatment. It also thins your blood and may make bruising more likely.

After You Glow: Post-Treatment Instructions

Protect your results and support the best outcome with these easy post-tox do’s and don’ts:

1. Stay upright for 4 hours

Avoid lying down or bending forward immediately after your appointment. Remaining upright helps ensure the product stays precisely where it was placed.

2. Skip workouts and heat for 24 hours

Refrain from strenuous exercise, excessive sweating, and heat exposure—such as saunas, hot yoga, or long hot showers.

3. Avoid anything that may migrate your tox

Do not touch, rub, or massage the injection sites for 24 hours.  Also, avoid wearing hats, using snorkel masks, or engaging in activities that put pressure on the face or that may migrate the tox with gravity, like jumping on trampolines, or getting a massage (face pillow) for 2 weeks following your treatment.

4. Postpone facial treatments

Avoid facials, dermaplaning, microneedling, and microblading for 14 days following your treatment to prevent interference with product placement. These treatments are ok anytime BEFORE your tox treatment.

5. Be patient

Results typically begin to appear within 3 to 5 days, with full effects visible in 1 to 2 weeks. Allow your body time to respond—you’ll be glowing soon.

What is your cost for tox?

$12 per unit – and yes, coupons are available!

I use Jeuveau® by Evolus—a modern, highly effective wrinkle relaxer that clients love. (It’s seriously THE BEST.)

No, Alle is the rewards program for the brand-name Botox. But good news—Jeuveau® has its own perk program, and you’ll be automatically enrolled on your first visit. You’ll earn rewards every single time you come in!

Absolutely not. Tox doesn’t add volume—it simply relaxes muscle movement to smooth fine lines and give you a refreshed, natural look. With proper dosing and placement, it can also lift brows, open the eyes, and reduce jowling or hooding.

This is totally normal. Tox works like a bell curve:

  • Starts working in 1–2 weeks

  • Peaks around 2–8 weeks

  • Wears off gradually between 8–12 weeks
The FDA recommends waiting at least 90 days between treatments to prevent tolerance and avoid “chasing movement.” That’s also when your rewards perk becomes available again!

You can get facials, microneedling, massage, etc., before your tox appointment—but wait 2–3 weeks afterward to avoid product migration.

For 6 hours after treatment:

  • No hats

  • No laying flat or bending over

  • No heavy sweating or intense exercise

Avoid anything that might shift the product, like trampolines or massages with a face pillow.
